What it's about...
Classic Rock, also often called Golden Age, emerged between 1960 and 1970 and has formed many subgenres (Hard Rock, Southern Rock, A.O.R., Heartland Rock, Progressive Rock, Glam Rock, etc.). This super genre is of particular importance for rock music. Drumming and drum sound became an active and equal part of a music pieces. Classic Rock and all subgenres have never lost their topicality.
The book and online course covers Classic Rock as part of the drums.education style studies. The style studies together form an area of general drums education. Through a combination of music theory, rhythmic and coordination exercises and grooves that can be used in practice, you will get to know and play the music genre. The grooves are arranged according to form parts and songs. There are a total of 319 mostly multi-bar grooves for intro, verse, pre chorus, chorus, bridge and fills. For each groove, the learning system offers you coordination and rhythm exercises. This keeps the practice units varied and you can face the challenge of over 2000 exercises. Audio samples help you to understand and practice the grooves.
The layout is divided into ballad, halftime, midtempo and uptempo. The difficulty of the grooves ranges from easy to medium to difficult.
